One very important thing is: you need to have the first two games to play Mortal Empires. You need to have both titles to play Mortal Empires in Warhammer 2 and likely so in Warhammer 3 Also, any DLC you purchased for the 2 games will apply to Mortal Empires, giving you access to more factions. Balancing was also applied, so some regions and some factions were either combined or completely removed. Note that Mortal Empires in Warhammer 2 is not a 1:1 copy of the 1st and 2nd campaign maps. With the addition of Chaos demons and a more fleshed out Kislev faction, we can expect more utter “chaos” in the coming Mortal Empires campaign.
